Something American - Jade Bird - Something American

I have been loving this song for a couple months now. I almost skipped over it since it’s so chill at the beginning, luckily I didn’t. It’s got this angst-y feel at times while remaining folksy. Also, her album artwork is super cool.

Strangers - Sigrid - Strangers

Sigrid, you’ve probably seen her on one of apple’s ads, or on Apple Music for her song  Don’t Kill My Vibe. Honestly I haven’t been too into her stuff until this new single, Strangers. It has these great punchy, rhythmic moments, with a great hook, while retaining a good melody throughout.

Be Without You - Mary J. Blige - The Breakthrough

This is my song. No joke, one of my all time favorites. Back in the day on my iPod it was my most listened to song and probably would still win the title today if I could total every song I listen to. I’m not sure what it is about this song, maybe it’s nostalgia, doesn’t matter I still love it. I still play it and belt every single word on the regular.

Euphoria - Loreen - Heal

This song won Eurovision a few years back and I’m not a huge fan of the performance that accompanied it(it included the hammer time dance). The song is just so hype. I don’t see how anyone could dislike it. So, go listen, dance like an idiot, be happy. I 

Play It On My Radio - Niki & The Dove - Play It On My Radio

I think this may be the second or third time I’ve posted about a Niki and The Dove song but I love pretty everything they do. This song has an 80s sound to it and a nice groove. The hook gets stuck in my head for days. The synths are pure magic. You might hate it, idk. I love N&TD too much, so my judgement on this one may not be the best.
