The Person Who Has "Everything"

The Person Who Has "Everything"

The Person Who Has "EVERYTHING". We all know that person who seems to have it all, they are impossible to buy for. What kind of gift do you get for someone who has everything? I think I have some real winners in the list below.

Shoelaces - Stolen Riches - $17-20

Everyone already has shoelaces, since they come with the shoes. Everyone does not have Stolen Riches shoelaces. I received a pair of these in a subscription box a few years back and they STILL look great. These laces hold up better than any laces I've ever owned. They actually guarantee that if your laces break before your shoes need a repair they'll send you another pair free. Also, they have laces in pretty much any size or color you could ever want. Without question, best shoelaces ever.

Ornament - Ink and Indigo - $22

If they have everything, then they probably have a Christmas tree. Christmas trees need ornaments, why not a hand painted beauty from Ink and Indigo. I have followed her work for quite awhile now and I can't get enough of it. These small ornaments are great little pieces that would steal the show on any tree.

Daily Vitamin Packs - Care/of - $25+

Some things people may already have but are bound to run out of, like vitamins. Care/of is a company that puts your vitamins into daily pouches to simplify the whole process. You take a quiz to determine what you need in your pouch and they suggest an assortment of vitamins, which you can then edit to your liking. The print your name and a quote on each pouch but if you're buying this as a gift then you can actually type up little messages for the first month of your gift! Give the gift of health and little messages of happiness and you can't go wrong.

Black Drawing Pad - Ito Bindery - $30-50

They may already have a notepad but I bet they don't have a black notepad, you can't even see the ink on these suckers. You can however see pencil that shimmers like silver on this black paper. I think these are a fun strange little gift. You should probably grab them a pencil to go along with the pad, I would suggest some Blackwing 602s or even a 3.2mm Kaweco Sport clutch pencil(similar to the one in the picture above).

Furoshiki and Wooden Clasp - Kiriko - $46-76

Ok, so Furoshiki what is it? A traditional Japanese wrapping cloth generally used to transport clothes, gifts, food, or other goods(thanks wikipedia). I've loved furoshiki for awhile now and this clasps makes them so much more accessible. There are TONS of designs out there to choose from all over the web but I am usually partial to any that are indigo, which actually would look great with the clasp. Kiriko has a large selection, and as a bonus they offer a discount when buying the clasp and furoshiki together.

Custom Standard Market Tote - Apolis - $68

Apolis is a brand that strives to do good while making great products, they are also a Certified B Corporation(B Corp is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is to milk). Their bags are pretty popular, you may have seen them at Magnolia Market if you've ever visited or other cool spots around the US. I actually even saw them at a local store here in Bloomington, Indiana recently. For that person who has everything though a custom one would be perfect. Write their name, home town, or dogs name, whatever your person might love.

Le Labo Discovery Set

Discovery Set with 50ml Code - Le Labo - $200

Everyone needs to smell good, but buying a scent for someone can be so hard if you don't know what they like. Le Labo has the perfect solution. The Discovery Set with a gift card for a 50ml bottle. The Discovery set comes with a sample of each of their scents so your person can try them all out before deciding on their favorite and using that gift card to select the perfect fit. I did the same thing awhile back before I decided on their signature scent Santal 33. Plus, maybe they don't love some of the scents and will hand them off to you if you're lucky.

Stockholm Raincoat - Stutterheim - $295

They may seems to have everything but do they have a Stutterheim raincoat? I love these so much. They're simple, classy, and just so dang cool looking. I think most people have coats but not a lot have a legitimate rain coat, at least I don't. I forget about rain until it's actually raining then I always think to myself why don't I have a raincoat. DOn't let your friend be dumb like me, get them a Stutterheim raincoat.

Venus et Fleur

Small Square of 16 Roses - Venus et Fleur - $300

They have everything? What about a box of real roses that last for up to a YEAR. Venus et Fleur makes these boxes of roses that are treated with a solution that allows them to last without care for up to year, with the scent lasting for 2-3 weeks. The roses comes in many different colors and arrangements but my personal favorite is the small square of 16 in black. You can get smaller boxes and even a single rose in a circular box for $40. They may have a lot of things, but I doubt you person have real roses that last this long and look this good.

That's it for this list! I hope you found something perfect for your person. I'd love to hear about it if you did, and even if you didn't and need help finding something perfect. I love finding the perfect gift and I'd be happy to help. Thanks as always for reading.
