The Limit To Your Love - Feist - The Reminder

I have loved this song for a very long time. I remember when this album released and I couldn't get enough of it. The Limit To Your Love has really stood the test of time for me. When it released it already had a retro vibe to it so it just feels like an old classic now. The beginning really takes it's time before those piano hits pop you into the chorus for a great stroll through the park of a song. If you like things a little more electronic and male vocals you could also check out James Blake's version of the song Limit To Your Love.

Carry on Phenomenon - Kishi Bashi - Lighght

This song is weird, I have no idea what it's about but I love it. The song has this crazy energy with some really fun music. My favorite part of the song is the musical freakout at 3min right before a cut to vocals at the chorus. Kishi Bashi is crazy talented and I love most everything he does because it's unpredictable and exciting. If you get a minute you should definitely check out his performance on NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert. He's crazy talented. Click the button below if you're interested.

Junebug - Robert Francis - Before Nightfall

Junebug has been in my playlists ever since it released back in 2009. Honestly I don't even listen to much of Robert's other stuff but I really fell in love with this song. When those Oohs come on you just can't help but sing along and they stay on repeat in your head all day after hearing it. When I listen to this song it just gives me such garage band feels, like I could just walk past a house with them going in on it in their parents basement or something.

The Dumbing Down Of Love - Frou Frou - Details

You may have heard of Imogen Heap, she's released a few solo albums, done some music for films, her song Hide and Seek was the base for Jason Derulo's song Watcha Sayshe also wrote the music for the play Harry Potter and The Cursed child. She's a genius, obviously. Guy Sigsworth is a songwriter and producer who has worked with tons amazing artists across many genres. Also a genius, just a little more behind the scenes. Frou Frou is Imogen and Guy making musical magic. They made one album together, the whole thing is great. This song is my favorite. Fun fact, this song was playing when I had my first car accident.

Heal - Tom Odell - Long Way Down

Simple but beautiful piano, vocal, and lyric. It's an emotional song that I think was perfectly produced to convey transparency. A great one for those breakup playlists if you're into that sort of thing

Week IV complete. Hope you find something you like. Got some great songs you think I might like? Send them my way, I'd love to hear them!

Until next time.
