Stranger Things - TV Show - Netflix
I mean, come on. Did you think this wasn't gonna be on the list? I re-binged the first season last week to prep. I'm trying to pace myself on season 2 so I'm only 3 episodes in. So far, so great. The moody feel is still there. The soundtrack is even better, if that's even possible. The new characters are a welcome addition, although I'm not a huge fan of Sean Astin's character so far. Everything else about this show though is honestly so perfect.
The Boy and the Beast - Movie - Anime
I've featured a song from this movie's soundtrack on my Music Monday awhile back. So, obviously the soundtrack is great but this movie was such a surprise for me. It's much heavier and more of a drama than I expected it to be. The basic premise is a human boy gets lost in the beast world and is taken in by one of their greatest fighters. Sounds weird, yes. Just watch it, trust me when I say it's for everyone not just anime fans.
Super Mario Odyssey - Video Game - Nintendo Switch
First open world, collect-a-thon Mario since Super Mario Sunshine in 2002! I have been dying to get my hands on this game for months and it does not disappoint. The gameplay is so smooth. The graphics are bright and crisp. There are soooo many things to collect I'm going to be playing this for a looongggg time.
